Creative Media Sector - Regulators

You need to now tell me about the rules and regulations surrounding some of your products and the organisation (known as a 'regulatory' or 'trade' body) that applies to it. This part will be dependent on the kind of product you're writing about - each sector of the media industry has a different regulator, ratings board or 'trade body' that lays down the rules that sector has to abide by.

Tell me about the trade body relevant to a couple of your products in the following way.

1 FOR THE GAME YOU HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT put in the heading 'PEGI'. Then tell me . . . .

Who are PEGI? What do those initials stand for? What do they do? What rating have they given your game? Explain this rating - what does it mean? What does this rating mean for those who buy this game (gamers) and those that sell games (developers & game-retailers).
please add a new heading ‘TRADE BODIES’.

 2. For the FILM that you've looked at put in the heading 'The BBFC'  tell me . . .
Who are the BBFC? What do those initials stand for? What do they do? What rating have they given your film? Explain this rating - what does it mean about the film? What does this rating mean for those who buy/watch the film and those that show it/distribute it (cinemas, streaming sites and retailers)?
e you've identified?
